What we collect

When you create an account or place an order, we collect your name, email address, and delivery address. Payment is processed by our trusted payment provider, and we never see or store your card details.

We use your data to fulfil our contract with you, to meet legal obligations (such as keeping tax records), and for our legitimate interests in running and improving the shop.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop: our payment provider, our website platform (Base44, which stores order data), and the postal or courier service that delivers your order. Some of these may store data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires. We never sell your data.

Emails

We'll email you about your orders (confirmations, shipping updates, refunds). We won't add you to a marketing list without your say-so.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your shopping cart and session working.

With your permission only, we also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It tells Meta when someone who saw one of our adverts visits a product, adds something to their basket or places an order, so our adverts can be shown to people likely to be interested. It doesn't share your photos, your delivery address or your payment details. If you tap "Reject all" on our cookie message, it never loads. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and you'll be asked again. Meta's own use of this data is covered by Meta's privacy policy.

We never sell your data to anyone.

Reviews

If you leave a product review, the name you provide will be shown publicly with your review. Your email and account details are never shown.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email redheadandfrecklesuk@gmail.com and we'll sort it out. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on our platform. We keep order records for 6 years for tax purposes; account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.
