Reindeer Photo Light

Your photo becomes a soft picture in light and shade that appears when the light is switched on. These simple tips help it glow at its best:

• Use the original photo from your phone or camera if you can. Photos saved from WhatsApp, Facebook or a screenshot are often made smaller and lose detail.
• Faces close up and filling the picture. We shape your photo to fit the frame, so keep the people or pets you love most near the middle.
• Soft, even light. Daylight works beautifully. Try to avoid strong shadows, harsh flash or a bright window behind.
• Sharp and in focus, rather than blurry or very grainy.
• A simple background lets your loved ones stand out. Busy backgrounds can look cluttered once it glows.
• One to four people or pets works best, so faces stay a good size.
• Colour isn't needed. The finished piece shows light and shade only, so older or black and white photos look lovely too. If your only copy is an old, faded or creased print, a clear photo of it taken in daylight is fine, and we'll always do our very best with it.

We look at every photo personally before we start. If we think it won't come out as well as you deserve, we'll get in touch gently and help you choose. Your photo is stored privately, seen only by us, and only ever used to make your gift. We never share it or use it for anything else.
